Convolution & Correlation

Convolution and correlation were both known concepts and had been studied last year. The novel thing was to implement them and see the output. Convolution had no surprises and all examples had previously know results(5,14,...)
Correlation, however , became intersting when the out was not supposed to be an array, but a songle number between 0 and 1. The relation between the array and that correlation factor(Rayleigh's I guess) is still unknown to me. Only thing that the correlation array symmetrical about its middle term has a higher relation
